Why this session matters
Grief is something many of us will experience at different times in our lives, yet it is often something we find difficult to talk about.
In everyday life and at work, this can sometimes lead to uncertainty, silence, or a fear of getting things wrong. This session creates space to begin that conversation in a way that feels safe, thoughtful and human.
By opening up gentle, shared understanding, we can begin to feel more confident supporting ourselves and one another.
Overview
Grief is often associated with bereavement, but it can also arise from many forms of loss, including changes in relationships, health, identity and life circumstances.
Through reflection and gentle discussion, this session explores how grief may show up in our lives, and how we might respond to one another with greater understanding and care.
Participants will explore
• what grief is and how it can show up in everyday life
• why conversations about grief can feel difficult
• how grief may affect people in different ways over time
• small, thoughtful ways we can respond to one another
• how language can offer comfort and create connection
There is no expectation to share personal experiences. You are welcome to take part in a way that feels right for you.
