Grief Awareness in the Workplace: A Foundational Introduction
Choose a 60-minute Awareness Session or a 90-minute Interactive Workshop, designed to help teams understand grief and respond with confidence and compassion.
What to Expect from This Course
Grief is a universal experience, but many employees feel unsure how to respond when a colleague is grieving.
This course provides a practical and compassionate introduction to understanding grief at work. It is designed for colleagues across the organisation, helping teams recognise how grief can affect behaviour, wellbeing and communication.
You’ll explore what to say (and what not to say), how to approach sensitive situations, and why grief-aware workplaces are more resilient and supportive.
This session also links with the HSE Working Minds 5Rs framework, encouraging teams to recognise when grief affects colleagues and respond with compassion and clarity.
Duration:
60-minute Awareness Session
90-minute Interactive Workshop (includes additional discussion, workplace scenarios and Q&A)
90-minute CPD-certified programme coming soon.
