What to Expect from This Course

Grief doesn’t clock out when we clock in. It shows up in meetings, conversations and performance. This session helps managers respond with empathy and clarity, even when conversations feel difficult.

You’ll explore how grief can affect working relationships, team morale and communication at every level, alongside the emotional, cognitive and behavioural impacts it can have on individuals. You’ll also consider how to respond with care and clarity when situations become more complex.

The session also reflects on how supportive leadership aligns with the HSE Working Minds 5Rs, helping managers feel more confident reaching out and responding thoughtfully.
